Materials and Care

Lifted Spirit offers statement jewellery, which uses different types of materials that require more care and attention in order to stay looking perfect than fine jewellery.

All crystal jewellery is made with 100% natural stone. The metals we use are gold plated brass, and the pearls are imitation (glass). Other beads are plastic. These materials naturally discolour over time, due to the acidity of the skin and through general wear and tear. In order to maximise the life of your jewellery, it is our advice to follow these recommendations:

• Do not let your jewellery come into contact with too much moisture - remove when showering/bathing, swimming, in the sauna/steam room etc
• Apply creams, lotions and perfume before putting on your jewellery
• Do not wear when cleaning, washing up or any activity that may let your jewellery come into contact with detergents
• Store jewellery in its cotton pouch or tissue paper when it is not being worn
• Do not wear while sleeping
